Colorado tectonics, seismicity and earthquake hazards: proceedings and field trip guide of a symposium held in Denver, Colorado, June 4-6, 1981. 52 pages. Digital PDF download. SP-19D
Excerpt from the Foreword:
As Colorado’s population increases, the potential for damage from earthquakes increases. In June 1981, the Association of Engineering Geologists, Denver Section, held a symposium that discussed Colorado tectonics, seismicity and earthquake hazards to better define Colorado’s earthquake potential. The symposium provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge of recent developments in the field of earthquake assessment and to discuss recent studies in Colorado.
