OF-14-11 Geologic Map of the Rules Hill Quadrangle, La Plata County, Colorado

A slightly modified color digital update of Open-File Report OF-97-01. This 7.5 minute quadrangle is located east of Durango, and includes portions of the Florida River and Los Pinos River, Texas Creek, and the small town of Columbus. The higher elevations include Rules Hill. The geologic structure of this quadrangle is shaped by the San Juan basin and Hogback Monocline.
