The county seat is <a href=”,_Colorado” target=”_blank”>Grand Junction</a>. The county was named for the many large mesas in the area, including Grand Mesa. Notable locations include Colorado National Monument, Black Ridge Canyon Wilderness, and Kokopelli Trail.
