This 1975 map presents a graphic representation of the topography of the land surface. It is intended that this map be used for land-use planning, but not for individual site analysis or design purposes. There are five generalized slope categories used on the map, and the use suitability is described for each category. Slope areas that were steeper or gentler than the mapping category may be included when such areas are too small to be depicted at the 20-foot contour interval of the topographic base map from which the slope map was compiled.
