Description
Mineral resource potential derivative maps were generated using 7.5 minute quadrangles published under the CGS STATEMAP geological mapping program. Derivative maps are comprised of qualitative generalizations used to evaluate otherwise detailed and complex geological information. These maps were created from digital geologic map data combined with historical mine locations to provide information on the general distribution of select (potential) mineral resources. They may be used as a general guide: a more detailed analysis is required to determine the economic viability of any of these units. Online resource. ON-007-03M
