The purpose of this report is to describe the geology, mineral resources, and geologic hazards of this 7.5-minute quadrangle located near Craig in northwestern Colorado. Craig is within the southeastern portion of the quadrangle. Along the southeastern border, the Yampa River winds in and out of this quadrangle. The highest elevation is Cedar Mountain in the western portion, which is capped by Oligocene aged basalt. A series of northwest-southeast trending faults are observed or inferred to traverse the quadrangle in the area of Cedar Mountain. 2 plates (map, cross section and 3-D oblique view) and GIS data.
