From the abstract:

Between 1975 and 1984, the Department of Energy National Uranium Resource Evaluation (NURE) program conducted a stream sediment investigation throughout the U.S. The general purpose of the NURE program was to determine the location and variation of radioactivity to assist with national U exploration. During this investigation, the Colorado Geological Survey reanalyzed select stream sediment samples collected during the NURE program from the Paradox Basin, Colorado Plateau region, southwestern Colorado. Additional samples were also collected and analyzed during this investigation. This study was conducted to provide an updated and expanded regional geochemical data set in areas that contain critical mineral deposits in Colorado.
