Details

Data on over 200 coal samples includes locations, methane desorption data, adsorption isotherms, gas and coal analyses. 514 pages. 9 figures. 1 table. Digital Download. OF-81-04D

This report contains only CGS desorption data for Colorado collected during 1975 through 1982 in order to determine the extent of the potential methane hazard and/or resource. Most of the samples were coal, a few were sandstone, siltstone, shale, or oil shale. Also provided are a Colorado coal region map, a stratigraphic chart, and sample locations maps for each coal region to aid in data searches. The tests performed on the samples are summarized in a table.
