The county seat is <a href=”https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eads,_Colorado” target=”_blank”>Eads</a>. The county was named for the <a href=”https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiowa” rel=”noopener” target=”_blank”>Kiowa Nation</a> of Native Americans.
