Cheyenne Basin

Cheyenne Basin is a structural basin and one of the major coal bearing regions in Colorado. It straddles the Colorado-Wyoming border, encompassing the northern half of Colorado’s Weld County. It is part of a larger regional basin known as the Denver-Cheyenne Basin.
