Description
This 1965 study is an objective evaluation of the economic feasibility of a chemical refinery processing base for precious metal ores of Colorado. This study concerns delineation of a process or combination of processes for treating ores and concentrates. It investigates the potential profitability of such a refinery and establish a tentative location site. To determine the prospective life-span that such a refinery might expect, present and past ore production and the probable magnitude of resources and reserves are studied. The results of the study indicate that a chemical refinery could be built and operated profitably. In fact, it is entirely feasible that several such units could be built and operated within the state. 71 pages. Digital PDF download. MI-06D
