Description
Abstract
This geologic data was compiled on the basis of field mapping conducted during the summer of 2004.

Purpose
The purpose of Colorado Geological Survey Open File Report 05-6, Geologic Map of the Sedalia Quadrangle, Douglas,  County, Colorado is to describe the geologic setting, structural geology, mineral resource potential, water resources, and geologic hazards of this 7.5-minute quadrangle located in central Colorado.  Consulting Geologist Matthew L. Morgan, Jennifer L. McHarge, and Peter E. Barkmann completed the field work on this project during the summer of 2004.

Geology - polygons of geologic units
Overlays - polygons of supplemental information, such as paleosols
Faults - lines of structure
