The Rattlesnake Canyon trail, also known as the “Parade of Arches,” provides access to a canyon system containing the largest concentration of natural sandstone arches outside of Utah’s Arches National Monument. Rattlesnake Canyon/Arches trail is located within the Black Ridge Canyons Wilderness. The U.S. Bureau of Land Management maintains a rough dirt road to the trailhead. You can get a feel for the geologic story using the Rattlesnake Arches trail brochure and the MCNCA brochure.
