Boulder County’s parks have three retired geologists that lead occasional guided walks, with topics including “A Story in the Rocks” and “Geology and Landforms.” A presentation on the County’s geologic story is offered at the Boulder Public Library about twice a year. Programs for schools and groups may be requested. Interpretive signs regarding geology are in place at Walker Ranch Open Space.
